Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between

the Embassy of Uruguay and China Global Advisory on

On April 25 2023, China Global Advisory launched the China Global Advisory’s Global Clearing Planform for Green Projects bringing the three key pillars together: Projects, Companies and Finance. This platform will bring leading companies from China in implementing projects of renewable energy together with green finance from Luxembourg’s green finance platform and Switzerland’s sustainable finance platform.

The Embassy of Uruguay

Uruguay is a business card with natural ecology. Uruguay is in the process of transforming its energy production and consumption, is a relevant exporter of clean energy to its region and is currently implementing stage two of its national energy plan towards the goal of decarbonization of its economy. Additionally, Uruguay is recognized powerhouse in agricultural exports of the highest quality and is undergoing the implementation of new plans to multiply its high quality sustainable agricultural production.

China Global Advisory (CGA)

China Global Advisory recently launched the China Global Advisory’s Global Clearing Planform for Green Projects bringing the three key pillars of Projects, Companies and Finance together. This platform will bring leading companies from China in implementing projects of renewable energy together with green finance from Luxembourg’s green finance platform and Switzerland’s sustainable finance platform.

CGA and the Embassy of Uruguay in Beijing will work together to promote green economy projects in Uruguay in the areas of:

1. Renewable Energy (including but not limited to)

a. Green Hydrogen

b. Solar

c. Wind

d. Hydro

e. Biomass

2. Agriculture

3. Fisheries

4. Manufacturing

5. Green tourism

6. Forests

China Global Advisory will also assist in the financing of these projects including issuing green bonds through the Luxembourg exchange as well as the Switzerland’s SSF platform. Where needed, and according to the relevant regulations in Uruguay, CGA will also propose the participation of third parties in these projects.

Mr. Paul Lam, Chairman of China Global Advisory, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ambassador Fernando Lugris of Uruguay on May 25 2023 in Beijing, China, to promote investments in Uruguay in the areas of Green Projects. Witnessing the signing ceremony are Minister of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries Fernando Mattos, Director General of Agricultural Services Leonardo Olivera, Deputy Director of Animal Industry Division Diego Dominguez, President of the SUL Alfred FROS, President at INIA Uruguay Jose Bonica, Stud Book Uruguay Victor Tarigo, Adviser of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries Federico Garcia Paulette, and Mrs. Ellen Lam of China Global Advisory
